Sprint-B is a reactor device with a magnetically controlled reactor that provides a smooth start of asynchronous electric motors at a voltage of 6/10 kV, with a capacity from 315 to 8000 kW. Allows you to reduce the starting currents, and therefore reduce voltage drawdowns and heating of the winding.

Thyristor exciters of the VTE series are designed to power the excitation winding and control the excitation current of synchronous motors during direct or reactor start-up from the mains. The exciter has automatic, manual and emergency modes for controlling the excitation current.
